Douglas Yacht Services provides complete project management for technical work carried out in Martinique. Whether your yacht requires routine maintenance, mechanical repairs, hydraulic work, or coordination of multiple trades, DYS ensures every step is handled efficiently and to professional standards.

Our role is to simplify the process for captains and engineers by supervising all technical interventions, managing suppliers, and ensuring on-time delivery.

Full Oversight of Technical Operations

DYS coordinates and oversees:
• Scheduling and supervising all contractors
• Managing quotations and logistics
• Sourcing spare parts and materials
• Ensuring compliance with duty-free/VAT-free procedures
• Providing progress updates and clear communication
• Verifying quality of completed work

We work closely with shipyards (see our page on Shipyard Repairs), specialised workshops, and certified technicians to ensure all tasks are executed to the highest standard.

Yard Work & Onboard Repairs

Whether the yacht is alongside, hauled out, or undergoing float-in/float-out operations, DYS manages all aspects of the project:

• Rigging, sails, and deck hardware

All project-managed repairs can be processed through DYS under VAT-free customs procedures, providing significant operational savings for visiting yachts.
