Duty Free Procedures with customs

DYS as an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) is allowed by customs under certain conditions to offer tax exemption to yachts on temporary admission (“in transit”).

Definition of a vessel under Temporary Admission: Vessels being in the territory for a maximum period of 18 months (entry and exit clearances being the proof).

Flags eligible for duty/VAT free procedures: European flags (excluding France), non-EU flags.

Duty/VAT free procedure allows:

A. All repair, conversion and maintenance work to be carried out excluding VAT on all parts and labor

B. Import of all materials excluding Duties and VAT
